Commissioned by Good Mess Opera Theatre in 2021, Monsters Made tells the stories of several of the villainized women of Greek Mythology from their own perspectives and challenges the ideas we have long held as truth about these monsters.

At this initial music workshop, Taryn sang the roles of Thalia (one of the nine muses) and Atropos (a sarcastic characterization of the third Fate). 

With music by Roan Shankaruk and libretto by Georgia Perdikoulias, the piece received its first public performance in concert format on June 21.
